Sunrises on Long Sands
Longs Sands is the beach that I lived across the street from. For most of the winter the sun would rise in plain view and it was an absolutely awesome sight. I started shooting the sunrises 2 days before Christmas in 2002. I had started the car on a freezing cold morning and decided to walk across the street to look at the sunrise before I headed out to beat the other shoppers to the stores. That particular sunrise was absolutely awe inspiring and washed away any negatives I was holding onto. The tide was out, the sky was crystal clear and the sun just seemed to stretch its arms forever. I had a Fuji disposable camera in my pocket and shot what pictures I had left.

Anyway, Long Sands became my canvas for countless beautiful mornings and some very inspirational sunrises.
